The Classroom Gets Bloody In Korean Horror GOSA: BLOODY MID TERMS

Summer is traditionally horror season in Korea but after a string of flops the industry is taking a bit of a breather this year and importing the large majority of their horror titles from other nations. The one big exception, however, is Gosa, a home grown affair that takes the generally accepted premise that school is hell and spins it out to extreme levels. The good thing about Asian horror these days is that the scene has finally gotten over the hair-ghost thing and Gosa looks to be a remarkably bloody, slasher oriented affair, which is not the sort of film you expect to see out of Korea at all. It's also remarkably well shot and with the reliable Lee Bum Soo anchoring the cast you can expect solid performances as well. Check the trailer in the ScreenAnarchy Player below the break.
