More images from the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s 'The Road'

The more I see and hear of the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s stunning novel The Road the more I want to skip Summer and to move quickly to November. The lads at BloodyDisgusting have been eating their carrots and spotted an article on the film over at the New York Times with more images. The article speaks about the novel adaptation by Joe Penhall, the difficulty is filming at the breakout of Spring and how 'good' weather hampers production, site locations, and then talks about the bond between the story's two lead actors Kodi Smit-McPhee and Viggo Mortensen.

As is to be expected the images won't give away much. But put this in my must-see movies in the Fall.

A new trio of images after the jump.
