Sion Sono's EXTE Hits DVD January 4th!

Appearing with virtually no advance notice - as often happens with Hong Kong releases - Sion Sono's Japanese cult hit EXTE, starring Chiaki Kuriyama of Battle Royale and Kill Bill fame is about to hit DVD in Hong Kong. I've actually managed to miss this one at a handful of festivals over the past year and so haven't seen it yet but it is absolutely adored by a good number of folk around these parts and won a rave review in these pages when it played Fantasia.
