The Trailer For Marc Caro's DANTE 01 Arrives And Is Simply Stunning!

Marc Caro has become something of a forgotten man in recent years. Credited as a full director on City of Lost Children and Delicatessen, he stepped down to a design role on Alien Resurrection - perhaps he knew something we didn't going in - and subsequently dropped off the map almost entirely entirely while his former cinematic partner, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, rose to greater prominence around the world. Well, Caro is back in the director's chair with upcoming sci-fi picture Dante 01. And if the just released teaser is any indication he's back in a big, big way. Here's a synopsis:

Deep space, at the edge of the galaxy. The future. A new prisoner arrives on top-security prison ship and psychiatric research unit Dante 01. Sole survivor of an encounter with an alien force beyond imagining, Saint Georges is a man possessed by inner demons, caught up in the battle to control the monstrous power within him. Lambert Wilson and Dominique Pinon (hurray!) star. The film hits screens in France this January.
