Already out in Japan with English Subtitles, popular on recent Western Festival Screenings, due to appear in the USA (license confirmed) and now heading for ultra-cheapness in HK... worth checking out.

First English Friendly 'Female' - directed in Segments by Shinya Tsukamoto, Ryuichi Jiroki (upcoming 'M', and the recent 'It's Only Talk'), Suzuki Matsuo (director of 'Koi No Mon', the upcoming 'Welcome to the Quiet Room'), Miwa Nishikawa (director of 'Yume Juya' - in part - and the recent 'Sway'), and Tetsuo Shinohara (director of the recent 'Metro Ni Notte') - suddenly appears in Korea in the coming week or so. Surprisingly, considering purely the pedigree of the directors, it's not appeared before now or shown up in licensing news. Jump on this, as soon as the listing appear in more places...

There's also a full final trailer for Suzuki Matsuo's 'Welcome to the Quiet Room' - reminds me of 'I'm A Cyborg...' on the surface, now at least - online; Don Brown at Ryuganji spotted this before me...

Oh, and considering responses to screening of Argento's 'Mother of Tears' seem split between happiness for the fans and predictable disappointment in overall terms, it's odd to hear Argento considering a sudden fourth mother film, perhaps a prequel. Odd.
