Eleven Arts: Kei Horie's THE LITTLE FINGER AND THE FORBIDDEN BODY (ZENSHIN TO KOYUBI)

Distribution rights for Kei Horie's The Little Finger and the Forbidden Body (Zenshin to koyubi) are now being offered for sale by Eleven Arts Inc.. New Media Generation K.K. (K.K. Nyû Media Jenerêshon) released the movie theatrically in Japan on July 15th of last year. Kadokawa Herald Pictures Inc. (Kadokawa Herarudo Eiga K.K.) released it on sale DVD (DABA-0260; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan on September 22nd of last year; that release is being distributed by Kadokawa Entertainment Inc. (K.K. Kadokawa Entateinmento).

As was previously reported here and there on ScreenAnarchy, the screenplay for The Little Finger and the Forbidden Body was written by Horie and Masaaki Akahori. The movie stars Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Akiko Fukuda, Reiko Kataoka, (Masaaki) Akahori, Shion Machida, Mitsuyo Ishigaki, Seiji Rokkaku, Miyako Yamaguchi, Tokuma Nishioka, and Toshiaki Megumi.

Here's a synopsis for The Little Finger and the Forbidden Body from Eleven Arts' website: "Jun, a young pimp in Tokyo, is living languidly and seeing a psychological counselor, Takeda, secretly. With the help of the oddball psychological counselor, Jun begins to uncover the shameful memories at the root of his confusion: as a teenager, he seduced and slept with his younger sister, Kumi. This discovery returns Jun to his childhood home, and to Kumi, whom he has not seen in many years. What follows is an unexpected and explosive chain of events confronting Jun with his misdeeds, and also revealing to him the true cause of his isolation. This haunting film is a unique exploration of love, regret, and the essentially bizarre in human relationships."
