As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, the official website for Frank van Geloven and Edwin Visser's Slaughter Night (Sl8n8) - a.k.a. "Slachtnacht" - is online. (Note that in Dutch, "8" is pronounced "acht"; hence "Sl8n8" is pronounced "Slachtnacht" - not "Sleightneight", etc..) On that site are a poster/stills gallery and downloadable teaser trailer for the movie.

The screenplay for Slaughter Night was written by van Geloven and Visser. The movie stars Kürt Rogiers as Mark, Victoria Koblenko as Kristel Lodema, Carolina Dijkhuizen as Liesbeth, Jop Joris as Paul, Serge-Henri Valcke as Louis Oup, Steve Hooi as Ruud, Linda van der Steen as Estrild, Emiel Sandtke as Stefan, Liz Snoijink as Carla Lodema (Kristel's mother), Lara Toorop as Susan, Hans Ligtvoet as Vital Houcks, Martijn Oversteegen as Martin Lodema, Michaël van Buuren as Toine, and Robert Eleveld as Andries Martiens.

Here's a synopsis for Slaughter Night from the website of the Stichting Holland Film Promotion: "After a group of youths go on an excursion to an old mine, they discover that it was the place where a serial killer named Martiens was put to death. Back in the 19th century Martiens had to work as a so-called fireman - criminals who functioned as firemen had to detect gas within the mine and remove it by ignition. If the fireman survived the explosion then he was pardoned. If not, justice was rightly served. In all cases the condemned criminals never survived. ¶ Having brought along an Ouija board for kicks, the kids unwittingly unleash the spirit of Martiens. Although he isolated the gas successfully, he survived the blast. But he wasn't pardoned, instead left to die within the mine. Now he is looking for revenge. The youths' visit becomes a gruelling nightmare as, one by one, they fall prey to a hidden and merciless evil that takes possession of their bodies. In a nerve wrecking race against time they have to put Martiens' spirit to rest - and get out of the mine alive...."
