Thanks to our resident Viking, Swarez, for steering the way to a trailer for Ragnar Bragason's Börn, the first in a pair of thematically linked films coming this summer with cutting edge Icelandic theater troupe Vesturport. Bragason's previous feature, Fiasco, met with a good amount of critical claim a couple years back despite it being produced by Uwe Boll. I therefore feel confident, indeed, in saying that Bragason must be truly talented to have been able to overcome the Boll factor. As for Vesturport, they've had the likes of Nick Cave score their work, so you know they must be doing something right.

According to Swarez this filmic duo - the titles translating to Children and Parents - revolve around "the past and future sins of the suburbian fathers." So, bright and cheery, then. The trailer for the first film is available on YouTube.
