American Film Market (AFM): Update on Pakphum Wongjinda's Thai horror movie SCARED (RABNONG SAYONG K
The official website for Pakphum Wongjinda's Scared (Rabnong sayong kwan) has just gone online, and there's a downloadable trailer for the movie on that site. Also, there are four large JPEGs of posters for Scared on Deknang.com. Sahamongkol Film International Co. Ltd. is scheduled to release the movie theatrically in Thailand on November 10th.
As was previously reported here on ScreenAnarchy, distribution rights for Scared are being offered for sale by Golden Network Asia Limited at this year's American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California. The movie is being screened at the Mann Criterion on Thursday November 3rd at 5:00 p.m..
The principal cast of Scared includes Borwonpot Jaiganta, Napapa Tantakul, Chitjun Fujipun, and Amornpun Gongtrakan.
Here's a synopsis for Scared from this page for the movie on the website of MovieSeer Co. Ltd.: "A big group of freshy students sets a trip out of town. On the journey, their bus has to cross a rotten river bridge which is the only bridge in the center of a dark forest. When the bus is moving on the half of the way, the bridge accidentally broken down and the bus falls deep into the river more than 50 metres from the surface. Almost every single student dies while few survives. The scared students walk out from the forest till they discover an abandoned town that lies in the hill, there's no people in such town. In the mysterious town, the students cruelly are murdered one by one. No one knows what happens to them or who is the killer, only the survivor could explain it all."
