First image from Lee Myung-Se's The Duelist

I apologize to the reader who forwarded Todd this information. Whoever you are considered yourself credited as the source.
This may be one of the first images from an upcoming Lee Myung-se film, The Duelist. The film is a period piece that takes place in the Chosun era and the story is about a confrontation between a secret faction plotting treason and the police. It has been six years since his last film Nowhere to Hide. Filming may be very well wrapped up by now since it began in November and the producers were looking for an August release. The Japanese films rights were sold for $5 million. We reported before that this is the highest amount paid for Japanese rights to a Korean film. The plan is to open the film simultaeously in Korea and Japan.
The film stars Ha Ji-won [Love So Divine], Kang Dong-won [Temptation of the Wolves] and a vetern actor with some serious chops, Ahn Sung-ki [Nowhere to Hide, Musa, Silmido and Arahan].
