Miyazaki. Howls Moving Castle. Japan Times Review.

There are so many pieces basically reporting that "Howls Moving Castle" had a great and record-breaking opening weekend in Japan, and the briefest of snippets of reviews from sites like AICN.

I prefer the professional journalist to have his or her say, in English preferably. So, thankfully, Mark Shilling at JapanTimes has written this.

Thankfully, although comments I have read have hinted at the possibility that it's the rarest of all things when thinking of Ghibli films, a dud, he does infact rate it highly. Now, if only I could have the DVD to watch without having to wait the usual 9 months for the Japanese release.
