WHISKEY FIST - Reproductive Rights in the Shape of an Impregnating Bottle of High End Whiskey

SXSW Grand Jury award winning short film maker, Gillian Horvat, recently announced her second short film project: WHISKEY FIST, which is described on the film's Kickstarter campaign page as:

...a short film that uses absurd and vulgar comedy to probe the sensitive social sphincter holding back a much-needed dialogue on the obstacles to empathy between genders. It's set in the world of "branding", where our young protagonist, Justin, works. In danger of assimilating the misogyny of his environment, Justin seems in certain danger of becoming a douchebag. But one night a mysterious blonde impregnates him with a bottle of high-end whiskey -- magical realism ensues.

If that doesn't delight extremely cultivated tastes of SA readers, the hysterically candid video below with Gillian and Whiskey Fist's leading man, Chase Williamson (John Dies at the End), is sure to do the trick. The short also stars Peter Vack (Mozart in the Jungle), Ross Partridge (Lamb), Megan Mercier (Digging For Fire), and the up-and-coming Lacey Dorn.

Fandor is backing the short with additional funding as well - Gillian's previous short, KISS KISS FINGERBANG, has been streaming exclusively on that channel since its release.
