When A Ghost Needs A Doctor They Head To Vietnam's GHOST HOSPITAL

Here's the thing about being dead: If you were taken out by illness or injury then your ghost is going to be sick and / or kind of grisly for rather a long time. And if you're facing an eternity with the sniffles it only makes sense to try and seek out someone who can help out, right? That's the basic premise behind upcoming Vietnamese effort Ghost Hospital, a horror comedy revolving around a young doctor hired on at a hospital plagued by ghosts.

The pacing of the freshly released trailer for this one feels a little off and the comedy is very much tailored to the local audience but production values look great and there are a handful of really solid moments scattered throughout. Take a look below!

I'm very interested. I see what you mean about the tone, but by the end of the trailer I was much happier about what we seem to be getting than the wacky, jokey movie I'd imagined from your description. Seems like they are making a straight-faced movie, albeit in a wry sort of way, instead of one that mitigates any risk through blithe camp. What we see here seems far more rare than the usual formula.

Yep, I agree. Vietnamese humor tends to be ENORMOUSLY broad and this is far more restrained.
