FURY ROAD's Zoe Kravitz Will Keep Counting Bullets In Gunslinger Flick BLACK BELLE
From an original screenplay by Tasha Huo (Black Belle is about) a loner/bounty hunter who specializes in revenge killing when a client shows up with information about her mother's murderer. It takes a turn when she realizes just who the alleged killer really is.
Tasha Huo was working at Universal when her writing sample The Darkness was chosen from The Black List by Warner Bros at the end of 2013. At the time WB was working with The Black List to reach out to under-served demographics in screenwriting. WB then offered Huo a two-step blind script deal.
Black Belle begins filming in September and will be produced by Brain Scratch Prods and Mad Riot Entertainment.
