MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5 ROGUE NATION: Trailer Aims For New Heights, Literally
The first look trailer for Mission Impossible 5 Rogue Nation has popped up and there is no messing with a winning formula. Big stunts. Hot cars. Long legs. Yep. It is all in there. Including what is probably Tom Cruise's biggest stunt yet; hanging off the side of an airplane as it takes off. Google it. He did it. For reals.

A global trailer will debut tomorrow. Details of the plot are still unknown but for now what we can glean from today's trailer is there is an organization called the Syndicate, an anti-IMF, that Ethan Hunt sets out to bring down. He will be helped by Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and newcomer Rebecca Ferguson.

For those of you keeping score at home Paramount registered the title Rogue Nation in January before Disney announced their latest Star Wars title Rogue One. Disney has agreed to keep Rogue One out of any advertising throughout the Summer, as a compromise, and for the fact that it has not been cleared for use by the MPAA. That is apparently a thing.

I'm sitting comfortably in a chair, at ground level, shitting my pants on Tom Cruise's behalf. Mental, even with harnesses and hidden rigs, mental.

Couldn't agree more.
Even if I possessed the testicular fortitude to emulate his feat I would most definitely be wearing an adult diaper.
Pity he used harnesses and hidden rigs, I would have loved to have seen Operating Thetan level 6 mental powers in action.

Tom Cruise is great, I don't give a fuck what anyone says. There has never been a A-list star who has worked with as many great directors and produced consistently good movies.

I watched EDGE OF TOMORROW and I'm absolutely in awe of that movie. I think Doug Liman should have gotten an Oscar nomination.

also watch out for Zhang Jingchu from Protege, Rush hour 3 etc in a key role....does look like big mad fun

Play it backwards and he's using his Scientology powers to pull a plane out of the sky.
