BLUE RUIN: Jeremy Saulnier's Brilliant Revenge Thriller Gets Equally Brilliant New UK Trailer

Full marks to the marketing team at the UK's Picturehouse Entertainment. They've got one hell of a film on their hands with Jeremy Saulnier's Blue Ruin, they clearly know it, and they've just gone and released what may very well be an absolutely perfect trailer for the film. Haunting and evocative, troubling and mysterious, this tells you just the care bones of the concept while draping you in the tone of the film itself and now it's got me all worked up and wanting to watch the full picture again.

A mysterious outsider's quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home to carry out an act of vengeance. Proving himself an amateur assassin, he winds up in a brutal fight to protect his estranged family.
