Ed Helms To Wear The Badge In Paramount's NAKED GUN Reboot
The Naked Gun and its two sequels were slapstick comedies in the late 80s and early 90s. Made by Jim Abrams and the Zucker brothers, Jerry and David, they proved to be enormously popular, though the series waned by the third film. Myself, I am somewhat skeptical that anyone can fill Nielsen's shoes in this, or any role he did. He was one of a kind. Time will tell.
