First Teaser For Otomo's Short Anime COMBUSTIBLE

An old fan favorite has cracked the Oscar shortlist for Best Animated Short with Akira helmer Otomo Katsuhiro in the running with his short film Combustible. The story of an Edo era firefighter and his childhood love reunited in the midst of a massive - and true life - fire that wiped out half of the capitol city, Combustible is part of a larger anthology project that also includes directors Ishii Katsuhito, Morita Shuhei and Katoki Hajime.
