With Michael Bay's PAIN AND GAIN Getting Back To Basics Means Muscles, Bikinis And Perhaps A Bit Of Gunfire
Much has been made of Michael Bay's move away from the big budget, CGI driven spectacle of the Transformers movies for something smaller and more intimate with the Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson starring Pain And Gain. But what many people forgot is that when looking over Bay's filmography the picture that stands out as the most small and the most intimate to date is Bad Boys. And that's very much the Bay that is back here.

From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes "Pain & Gain," a new action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson and Bar Paly also star.
Given that I quite like Bad Boys and Tony Shalhoub it comes as no surprise that I also quite like this first Pain And Gain trailer. Check it below.
