Director Tony Scott Dies in Apparent Suicide [UPDATE]
Tony Scott, the director who made Top Gun, True Romance, Man on Fire, and Unstoppable has died after jumping from a bridge in San Pedro, California.
Scott, 68, left a suicide note in his car before climbing a fence and leaping to his death. He and his older brother, director Ridley Scott, were busy as TV producers as well as filmmakers. There is much more that could and will be be said about the director, his work, and his influence, but right now there is this:
