Venezuelan commercial director Hernan Jabes had best be prepared for a slew of comparisons to Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. Because his upcoming Rock, Paper, Scissors (Piedra, Papel o Tijera) looks to be precisely the sort of multi-stranded, grittily realistic drama that the director of Babel and 21 Grams has built his name on.

Though the trailer isn't subtitled the story of two families on a collision path comes through clearly enough, as does Jabes' obvious talent. Take a look below.
