Green Band Trailer For Seth MacFarlane's TED: Still Funny

A brief side note: You can show bong hits in a Green Band trailer? Really? This is surprising to me.

The bong hit in question features early on in the new trailer for Ted, the feature film debut from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. The Red Band trailer for this one popped up a couple days back and while it was quite funny it also left the obvious question of whether the film could still be funny when it was relying on actual character interaction rather than just shock value. This new effort says yes.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since.
