MORTAL KOMBAT on Bluray NO FATALITY

Good news. You don't need to replace your old DVD of Mortal Kombat with the Bluray! Unless you want a Bluray that might as well be a DVD. There's some added sharpness here but the difference is pretty minimal. I was hoping for some added energy and the sort of image quality that would jump through my projector than the current DVD. No such luck. Mortal Kombat is always fun to get a few friends around the TV but there's really no reason to pick this up. This disc is so inconsistent in it's image quality you are just as likely to find yourself commenting on that as you are to find yourself throwing one liners at the screen. The extras included here are hardly enough to change anyones mind about a purchase. You get the animated 1995 prequel Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins, theatrical trailer, HD Mortal Kombat Video Game Trailer and a digital copy of the film.
