The Trailer For Ram Gopal Varma's Five Day Film DONGALA MUTHA Is Here!

Filming finished on the 13th, and here on the 20th we have the official trailer for Ram Gopal Varma's Dongala Mutha.  Um, it looks pretty damned good.  I honestly wasn't expecting it to look this good.  The dubbing for the film is finished, it sounds like some of the sound FX are ready, and they are working on editing the film.  I was skeptical, but this has exceeded my expectations so far.  Other people have done films on short schedules, like Shane Meadows with Le Donk and Scor-zay-zee, but that film was made on a £48,000 budget with professional gear.  That may not sound like much, and it really isn't, but so far RGV hasn't spent a dime.  Everything for the film has been donated, including the talent.

I'm very interested to see this film now.  Ravi Teja is a force of nature, and he looks to be on point with this film, and when Ram Gopal Varma is on, which has become rarer, his films are really excellent.

I still have no idea what the film is about, but the trailer looks like it will deliver far beyond its budget, hehehe.  Dongala Mutha's release date has been pushed from March 4th, to the 18th, giving RGV about 2 weeks of wiggle room, so let's see what he does with it.  Enough from me, here it is!
