Ram Gopal Varma's DONGALA MUTHA Wraps In 4 1/2 Days

Well, he said he'd do it and he did.  Indian iconoclast Ram Gopal Varma began shooting his latest film, Dongala Mutha last Wednesday, February 9th, and wrapped yesterday, February 13th.

The film, starring Ravi Teja and Charmee among other Telugu film luminaries, was shot entirely at one location in Hyderabad, with a crew composed of somewhere between 5 and 8 people, depending on who you believe.  The entire film was shot on Canon 5D digital SLRs with no artificial lighting.  RGV plans to release Dongala Mutha to cinemas on March 4th, which means he has about 2 1/2 weeks to do ADR, scoring, recording, VFX, editing, and getting it through the Indian censor board.
