Brim and The Good Heart clean up the Icelandic Eddas
Our annual film and TV awards, The Edda, was held on saturday and indy darlings Brim (Undercurrent) and The Good Heart took home a large chunk of the awards. Brim took Best Picture, Lead Actress, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Design and Music. The Good Heart won for Best Director, Best Script, Make Up, Set Design and Costume Design.

Other winners were Olafur Darri Olafsson and Elma Lisa Gunnarsdottir for their roles in Stormland. Thorsteinn Bachmann for a supporting role in Oroi (Jitters).

So it's safe to say that it's been a good year for production company Zik Zak that had the majority  of the nominations and took most of them home that night.
