The NORWEGIAN NINJA Is Coming! And We've Got Stills To Prove It!

Mark it in your calendar: The official trailer for cult action comedy Norwegian Ninja - complete with English subtitles - will be making its debut here on ScreenAnarchy Friday (that's tomorrow!) at 1pm EST. The latest from the producers of Dead Snow is a re-imagining of the life of Arne Treholt, an actual Norwegian diplomat now living in exile after being convicted of spying for the USSR in the height of the Cold War. The true facts of the Treholt case are all in here with one important wrinkle: The film asks what if Treholt was not a spy at all but actually the leader of a secret clan of ninjas?

The trailer whipped up a bit of a buying frenzy when it appeared in Cannes and tomorrow will be the first chance to see it out in public. And what will you see? Check out the five new stills lifted from the trailer included in the gallery below. As a little FYI: The shot of the ninjas in flight suits is 100% real and unaltered. The producers hired a group of extreme base jumpers, gave them the costume suits and a camera, and left them alone for weeks to film themselves flying down the side of the cliff. It's pretty damn spectacular.
