Warwick Davis To Take The Lead In Ricky Gervais Sitcom LIFE'S TOO SHORT
This news popped up while I was away traveling last week and I missed it at the time, so my apologies to those for whom this is old news but it's just far too good not to mention at all.
Warwick Davis (Willow, Return of the Jedi, Leprechaun, Harry Potter, etc) is starring in Life's Too Short, a new comedy pilot by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant commissioned by BBC2. Now, it's only a pilot at this point so it may never make it to full series but still, this is pretty fantastic. Word is Gervais and Merchant will both appear in minor roles but that this is very much Davis' show and is being described as an observational comedy about his day to day life. Says Ricky in the BBC press release:
