Timur's Flying Car Returns In The Third Teaser For BLACK LIGHTNING!

No doubt about it, Timur Bekmambetov is the biggest name in current Russian film, his Night Watch movies dominating the Russian box office while his English debut, Wanted, did a bit alright here as well. And not only is he popular, Bekmambetov likes to keep busy, jumping between projects based in Hollywood and Russia and becoming increasingly involved as a producer as well. Such is the case with Black Lightning, the upcoming flying car adventure story Bekmambetov is producing for one of his key regular crew members.

We first wrote about this one several months ago, very much taken by the retro-future look of the production designs and the first teaser while figuring the story line - a university student who finds a flying car and uses it to fight evil - could be good, campy fun in the right hands. That first teaser was very much a tease, the second showed a bit more and now there a third which moves away from the car a bit and on to the human characters.
