Full Theatrical Trailer For Kaz Kiriya's Martial Art Fantasy GOEMON

Yes, I understand there are people out there who don't care for the work of Kaz Kiriya - most particularly his debut feature Casshern - and I can even kind of understand the arguments, it's just that I think they're wrong, wrong, wrong. For my money Kiriya is one of the most striking and purely visual stylists on the face of the planet today and I've been drooling in anticipation of his sophomore feature - a Robin Hood sort of martial arts fantasy legend titled Goemon - since the day it was first announced.

We had the initial teaser a little while back but now Kiriya has dropped the full theatrical trailer and, zowie. This plays like the purest anime adaptation I've ever seen, but for the fact that it's not based on an anime and it's amazing to me how much his visual palette has changed since Casshern while still remaining obviously his own.
