Trailers for Akihisa Okamoto's THE CLASSROOM OF TERROR, Yukihiro Sawada's NO GRAVE FOR US, Eiichi Ku
On November 21st, Toei Video Co. Ltd. (Tôei Bideo K.K.) is scheduled to release five movies on DVD in Japan that starred Yûsaku Matsuda: Akihisa Okamoto's The Classroom of Terror (Bôryoku kyôshitsu - 1976), Yukihiro Sawada's No Grave for Us (Oretachi ni haka wa nai - 1979), Eiichi Kudô's Yokohama BJ Blues (Yokohama BJ bûrusu - 1981), Yoshimitsu Morita's And Then (Sorekara - 1985), and Matsuda's own A Homance (A-hômansu - 1986). The five movies are being released on DVD both individually (DSTD-02496, DSTD-02497, DSTD-02498, DSTD-02499, and DSTD-02500, respectively), and together in 17th Memorial: The Yûsaku Box (DSTD-02501). Other movies which Toei Video is scheduled to release on DVD in Japan that day include Shûji Kataoka's Sakura no daimon: chi no hôshû (2005 - DSZS-07024) and Rokurô Mochizuki's Nureta akai ito (2005 - DSZS-07025).
On December 9th, Toei Video is scheduled to release Jun'ya Satô's Peking Man (Pekin genjin - 1997) on DVD (DSTD-02508) in Japan, as well as both The Bullet Train (i.e., English) and Super-Express 109 (i.e., French) versions of his Shinkansen daibakuha (1975) in a two-disc set (DSTD-02509).
It appears that none of the abovementioned DVDs will have English subtitles; however, The Bullet Train is dubbed in English, and Super-Express 109 is dubbed in French.
