Exclusive Poster Debut: Michel Gondry's MICROBE & GASOLINE

If you ask me, every road-trip movie should have a poster as gorgeous as this one for Microbe & Gasoline. We're pleased to present its exclusive debut.

Here's the brilliantly brief official description:

Written and directed by Michel Gondry, this coming of age film follows two misfit young friends (Ange Dargent and Théophile Baquet) as they embark on a road trip across France in a vehicle they built themselves.

I loved Gondry's previous feature, the trippy and somewhat demented Mood Indigo, but initial reviews indicate Microbe & Gasoline is a touch more subdued. No matter; I still can't wait to see it.

What do you think of the poster? Illustrations are by Marc Aspinall and Jay Shaw did the typography. The film will be releasing in the U.S. via Screen Media Films on July 1.
