'Tis The Season For Little People ...
Up first is French action comedy Pattaya, a Franck Gastambide directed effort that appears to revolve around an ex con turned martial arts master to little people. Given the generally broad nature of French comedy there will almost certainly be something in here to offend everyone though the production values look quite strong.
Next? That would be the latest from Thai actor and director Bin Bunluerit, most recognizable globally from his acting performance in Bang Rajan. Bunluerit turns in ตัวอย่าง กระสือครึ่งคน, which appears to anglicize down to Krasue Bint and which Google Translate gives its best shot at translating as Filth Eating Spirit Half Men. A horror comedy effort, this one is set in a village of pygmies beset by the krasue - a particularly Thai ghost which is basically a disembodied head floating around with its entrails hanging from the stump of its neck.
Odd? You betcha. You'll find the Pattaya trailer below and Krasue Bint below that.
