Dick Maas' Killer Lion Will PREY On Amsterdam

He's brought us a possessed elevator with The Lift. He unleashed Christmas horrors with Sint. And now veteran Dutch helmer Dick Maas is poised to release a hungry lion on the streets of Amsterdam with his next feature, Prey, now in pre production in preparation for an April shoot.

When the police discover the bodies of a slaughtered family living on a farm just outside of Amsterdam, they are clueless as to what happened. Lizzy, an attractive veterinarian working in the Amsterdam Zoo, confirms their suspicions; there must be a lion on the loose! And judging by the wounds of the mutilated victims, the lion must be big, strong and vicious!

Now, a bit of googling will turn up the rest of that synopsis up above and while I recommend not doing said googling to avoid spoilers - the full synopsis was prepared as pitch for prospective investors and therefore takes you through the entire story - I will say that it involves a one legged lion hunter in a high power mechanized wheelchair. Which is amazing.
