Watch Giggle-Filled Keynotes By Tim League And Jill Soloway At Film Independent Forum
This weekend saw the 10th edition of the Film Independent Forum at Los Angeles's Directors Guild of America. Like in past years, indie filmmakers filled the auditoriums to hear speeches and panels from indie heavyweight producer, directors, and industry insiders.
Two highlights came in the form of Saturday's "Filmmaker Keynote" by Afternoon Delight director Jill Soloway and the "Executive Keynote" on Sunday morning from everyone's favorite theater/distributor mogul Tim League. The latter included a shout out to ScreenAnarchy where Tim rebuked our assertion he'd be on stage without a beer by cracking a cold one from his hotel's minibar (see below right at the beginning). Well played League. But what you didn't realize was that Film Independent wasn't covering hotel incidentals. We hope you enjoyed that $14 sip.
