Raindance Film Festival Announces Their 2014 Lineup
Just when you thought it was safe to come to ScreenAnarchy and not hear about a film festival... wait, when did you ever think that was going to happen? Film festivals are our bread and butter. Anyway... While much of the film world is in a tizzy over TIFF, we mustn't forget our friends across the pond (hello there! it's 5:30 am on the east coast, and 2:30 am in LA). So with that it's time to talk about the Raindance Film Festival in London.

They've recently announced the full lineup for their 22nd edition, September 24 - October 5 at Vue Piccadilly, and it is quite the doozy of world cinema.

Opening the fest is the Sundance Sci-fi fav I Origins, with ScreenAnarchy fav Wolf closing. The real meat though comes in the form of 100 or so other features, 150 shorts and 40 industry events. More highlights from the lineup include Fuku-chan Of Fukufuku Flats, the extremely bizarre and quite excellent documentary Kung Fu Elliot (which I reviewed at Slamdance under the title Elliot), the hysterically titled Window Licker, the Memphis music doc Take Me To The River, and live-action animated hybrid Luna, from polymath Dave McKean, who may be best known for his collaborations with Neil Gaiman on Sandman and Hellblazer.

There's plenty more to see, so get the full lineup and details over at Raindance's website.
