BREAKING: Joseph Gordon Levitt To Star In Robert Zemeckis' TO REACH THE CLOUDS
Twitch has learned that Levitt will take the lead in Robert Zemeckis' adaptation of Philippe Petit's memoir To Reach The Clouds. The subject of 2008 documentary Man On Wire, Petit is a high wire walker who gained international notoriety in 1974 when he walked - without permission - across a wire strung 1350 feet above the ground between New York City's Twin Towers.
Zemeckis' interest in the story has been known at least since 2011 but development has been moving slowly and quietly up until now. Clearly things have progressed and with Gordon-Levitt now on board to play Petit things should be moving forward quickly.
