Although Joe Carnahan's latest doesn't live up to the marketing hype of Liam Neeson in wild-man action mode, The Grey is a surprisingly effective drama wrapped inside of a tense survival thriller.

Liam Neeson (Schindler's List, Taken) stars as the unlikely hero Ottway in this undeniably suspenseful and powerful survival adventure.
