ROWDY RATHORE Gets Rowdier In New Promo For Aa Re Pritam Pyare
I've made no secret of my excitement for Prabhu Deva's upcoming Bollywood masala action extravaganza, Rowdy Rathore. The minute the first trailer was leaked onto the internet I was prepared to buy my ticket and wait in line for months, if need be, to get my seat. As the film's June 1st release date creeps closer, the money men have made the wise decision to give us a little more machismo to keep us sated in the form of music promos.

There have been two music promos so far for Rowdy Rathore. The first was for the song Chin Ta Ta, which is a cover/remake of a popular song of the same title from Vikramarkudu, which is the film on which Rowdy Rathore is based. The promo for that song was mostly Akshay Kumar goofing around and dancing in decidedly south Indian style sequences with moves cribbed from any number of popular Tollywood songs, most notably Allu Arjun's performance in Ringa Ringa from the film Arya 2. The second music promo is a little bit more ScreenAnarchy friendly and shows off some of the action from the film not seen in the trailer.

Aa Re Pritam Pyare is the second song released from the Rowdy Rathore soundtrack, and the promo video is incredible and well worth checking out for a number of reasons. The first, and probably most exciting for ScreenAnarchy readers, is the inclusion of a lot of new fight and action footage, including the fabled saw blade on a stick in action. On top of that there is a lot of new Bollywood styled physics in the fight choreography, which always gets a good reaction from me. The second, and nearly as important, reason for checking out this video is that it features my absolute favorite Indian item girl, Mumaith Khan. I've gushed about Khan before, most recently in my column about the trailer for Tamil film, Mambattiyan, but she really owns this promo video. The girl is stunningly gorgeous and her enthusiasm is contagious. For those of you who are sadly not familiar with Mumaith, she's the one in the pink/fuschia outfit. Do yourself a favor an pay close attention.

Check out Aa Re Pritam Pyare!
