Mandarin Sex Shop Comedy RED LIGHT REVOLUTION Picked Up By Terracotta Distribution
Red Light Revolution recently screened at The Terracotta Far East Film Festival, one of the UK's premiere showcases for new Asian films, where it won the audience award just weeks ago. The director likens the film to something along the lines of The Full Monty, wherein someone who is down on his luck, in this case a poor taxi driver, takes up a risque business venture, in this case a sex shop in mainland China, to make ends meet.
Here's what Terracotta are reporting on their own news page:
Breaking story on The Hollywood Reporter - director Sam Voutas, producer Melanie Ansley and everyone at Terracotta Distribution are extremely excited to be working on the UK release of RED LIGHT REVOLUTION, the winner of the Terracotta Festival 2011 Audience Award.

it's literally just been announced, so we will be letting you know more about our newest acquisition in the weeks to come.
The film will get a theatrical release in October in the UK and if you live in London, you can get a sneak peak if you missed it at the festival, via our monthly film club: www.MeetUp.com/AsianMovies (sign up!).
It's a great feel good movie, which in the article, the director is quoted as having the same vibe as 'The Full Monty' - an uplifting film about a man caught in harsh economic times.
Looks promising, and Terracotta is planning on making Red Light Revolution available not only in theaters, but also on VOD, and ultimately on home video starting this October.
