First Teaser For Pål Sletaune's BABYCALL
Fresh from her massive international success in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and the rest of the Millennium Series of films it would appear that Noomi Rapace is now on a path to take over the world. She's got the Sherlock Holmes sequel shooting now, is receiving major talk as the potential star of Ridley Scott's Alien prequel project and her name tends to pop up in any connection to pretty much any major project requiring a strong female lead. She is, in a word, hot.

But before heading over to Hollywood, Rapace took the lead in a dark thriller in Norway, appearing in Naboer director Pål Sletaune's Babycall.

It's an elegantly simple premise and all the more effective for it. Rapace plays a woman essentially living in hiding with her young baby after getting out of an abusive relationship. Left scarred and timid by the relationship and basically praying not to be noticed by anyone for any reason her life is turned upside down when her baby monitor picks up signals from other apartments in her building, one signal in particular waking her with what seems to be the sound of someone being killed.

Scheduled for a March release in Norway the first teaser has just arrived. Check it below.
