HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN's Jason Eisener Goes Underwater With Next Feature

The Tracking Board is reporting that Hobo With A Shotgun's Jason Eisener will direct a horror thriller for Fox. Based off of an original idea by Eisener the film will have some underwater sequences and is said to be tonally along the lines of his freaky as shit one minute short One Last Dive, which you can watch below. 

Sources confirm that Eisener's new project is taking a unique approach in that it's attempting to reinvent the haunted house genre in a terrifying new way, described as a very individual spin on the horror genre, much like how Cloverfield was a new take on monster movies. Like One Last Dive, the feature too will utilize first-person POV sequences.

A follow up feature to Hobo has been a long time coming. Eisener has not be lazy in that time though. From directing sequences for the ABCs of Death and V/H/S anthologies to executive producing this year's Canadian cult darling Turbo Kid he has done enough for other people. He was due for a project of his own.
