Ronda Rousey Will Be Nice Until It's Time Not To Be Nice In MGM's ROAD HOUSE
Variety is reporting that MMA fighter Ronda Rousey will join MGM's re-imagining of Road House, a bit of a cult hit from 1989 starring Patrick Swayze.

In the original Road House Swayze starred as Dalton as a bouncer hired to come to a small town and clean up a dive bar called the Double Deuce. Dalton soon learns that the small town lives under the rule of a corrupt businessman. Cue the monster truck!

Variety reports that Rousey will be the lead in their new film. As her star rises in both MMA and Hollywood we still do not know if Rousey can carry a film by herself. She had small roles in high profile pics like Furious 7, Entourage and The Expendables 3. She will get her opportunity to lead in Road House and another project we talked about a while ago, Mile 22 with Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais.

Whether she will rip out anyone's throat in this new Road House also remains to be seen.
