Mark Dacascos To Join Casper Van Dien In RELENTLESS
Produced by Greenlight Films, Emerald Films & Ricucci Films from a script by retired ATF agent and journalist Chuck Hustmyre (House of the Rising Sun), Relentless follows retired Ranger Charlie LaFarge (Van Dien), who is left for dead by smugglers, who steal his boat, murder his mentor and kidnap his girlfriend. With the Thai Police on his tail, as well as a crooked DEA agent, LaFarge swears to raise hell on the streets of Bangkok.
Director Branton has enlisted veteran stunt choreographer and coordinator Brahim Achabakhe (Tekken 2, Ninja: Shadow of a Tear, Jean-Claude Van Damme's upcoming Pound of Flesh and Jason Statham starrer Mechanic: Resurrection) to handle the film's extensive fight and stunt work. Co-producer Mike Leeder (Pound of Flesh, Man of Tai Chi) is also on board, fresh from recently completed action flick Ultimate Justice and the forthcoming Kickboxer: City of Blood).
