Colors Bleed In Art Themed Filipino Thriller PUTI

There's a new player in the Filipino festival scene with the arrival this summer of the inaugural CineFilipino. And given that festivals in the Philippines more often than not also double as funding bodies - with the festivals directly commissioning new feature films to make up their screening programs - that means not just a new festival but more films being made.

Backed by television network TV5 and ad / film production outfit Unitel, the inaugural CineFilipino features eight new films with Miguel Alcazaren's Puti standing out as one offering with crossover potential.

A psychological thriller about a counterfeit painter who figures in a freak car accident that renders him color blind; while recuperating, strange things start to happen to him.
