Simians, Sumos, & Sikhs! YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA 2 Has It All!
Back in 2010, the Deol family had a bit of success with their crazy masala comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana. Dad Dharmendra and his sons Bobby and Sunny Deol played a family of con artists trying to marry into a family of proud Sikhs who are only interested in accepting successful NRIs into the fold. Dharmendra and Bobby work their skills to try and convince this family, led by the ever-dependable Anupam Kher (Silver Linings Playbook), to make it happen to hilarious ends.
The film was very successful at the box office, and as is often the case, talk of a sequel was immediate. Here we are three years later and the sequel is in the can and awaiting release. Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 definitely ups the ante on the craziness we saw in the first film and adds an orangutan in what seems to be a pivotal role. What could possibly go wrong?
Honestly, I'm stoked for this film. The Deols have great chemistry and after seeing that trailer, why the fuck would you NOT want to see this? Not to mention the return of Hindi comedy king Johnny Lever, who I love and who doesn't appear in films much these days. Seriously, it's a long trailer, but definitely check it out!

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2' comprises of comedy, action & romance. The twisted trios; Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are back with a bang, except they are funnier, crazier and make tigers look like whimpering cats. The sequel directed by Sangeeth Sivan follows the adventures in UK where they get into fresh troubles and fresher adventures. The rest of the cast includes Neha Sharma, Kristina Akheeva, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Johnny Lever and Sucheta Khanna.
