CAMERAMAN GANGA THO RAMBABU Brings Together Power Star Pawan Kalyan And Puri Jagannadh October 18th
Pawan Kalyan has something of a hot streak over the last couple of years. He appears to be Telugu cinema's golden boy at the moment with three consecutive blockbuster hits going back to Panjaa last March. That film went into the black with the first week's box office receipts, which is a pretty impressive feat in any film industry. Kalyan will likely pull Jagannadh out of his minor slump unless Nagarjuna's Damarukam can pull an upset.
Puri Jagannadh has a raft of massive hits under his belt going back nearly a decade, but over the last three or four years he'd really been hitting his stride with several stellar films to his credit. He directed Pokiri (which was remade in Tamil as Pokkiri and Hindi as Wanted) and The Businessman with Mahesh Babu, both of which were huge hits, and even managed to put a dent in the Bollywood box office with Amitabh Bachchan vehicle Buddah Hoga Tera Baap, which I also really enjoyed.
I'm looking forward to Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu even though there seems to be nothing spectacular about it. I think that the combination of the director and actor is interesting and I'm willing to give it a shot. We'll see.
In the meantime check out the theatrical trailer for Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu, in theaters worldwide October 18th.
