Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard's Cabin In The Woods is headed for Austin.
The SXSW Film Festival have just announced the long-anticipated film as their opening night for the 2012 festival, continuing a trend of opening with commercially oriented, geek friendly films - a trend that has included Source Code and Kick Ass.
The festival also named a small number of other titles, included among them Irish horror picture Citadel and Jonas Akerlund's comedy Small Apartments.
