Snyder. Nolan. Goyer. Zod. The SUPERMAN Team Is In Place ...
It's arguably the most coveted directing gig in Hollywood right now - so lusted after that Robert Zemeckis was willing to leave his performance capture obsession behind if he could land it - and Zack Snyder has landed it.
Word has just broken that Snyder will be returning to the world of superheroes to direct the new Superman project that has been shepherded along by producer Christopher Nolan and writer David Goyer. Though details are largely being kept secret the early word is that General Zod will feature as the film's villain and I personally think it would kind of kick ass if they brought back Terence Stamp to do it. Sure, he's not the youngest guy in the world any more but he's still got all of the intensity that you could need and he is meant to be from an older generation, after all.
So, thoughts from you out there? Is Snyder a good choice or not? And who do you see best filling the roles of hero and villain? Fire away!
