Russian Anime FIRST SQUAD Goes To Manga / Anchor Bay For North America

While the distribution deal for the rest of the world outside of Russia is still pending some legal wrangling, it has been officially announced that award winning Russian anime First Squad: The Moment of Truth has been picked up for distribution in North America by Manga / Anchor Bay.  A co-production of Russian / Canadian outfit Molot Entertainment and Japan's Studio 4C, First Squad presents an alternate history of the end of World War II, with both Russian and German troops employing supernatural means to achieve their ends.

No firm release date on this yet, but the wheels are turning and it should be coming soon. Check the trailer below.
